Helpers in all sizes and shapes

On our blog of March 6th, we referred to a chopped oak tree which now has been processed into tables and benches by members of our Lions Club ( https://lions-winterthur-wyland.jimdofree.com/ ). As a result, a completely equipped public babecue area along the Husemersee (a scenic lake near Winterthur) was hand built by these «helpers» and inaugurated recently. Other «helpers» – this time with four hooves – supported the forest workers in our city’s woods after the winter with heavy snow. Also as a result of snow, we needed special «helpers» ( http://baumwerker.ch ) for our garden. They have done a spectacular job high up in the pine trees. Yet another species of «helpers» – insects, mainly bees – just started their work in our garden, too. Helpers in various disguises. We wish Lockthorn Dice all the best for his 10th birthday we all celebrated on April 4th. Shortly after that, Brandy von der Mohnenfluh turned his 2nd birthday.
