Eben noch hat Lockthorn Dice – so wie oft in seinem mehr als dreizehnjährigen Leben – seine Geburtsstätte «Whitethorn» in den North Yorkshire Moors genossen. Er begleitete uns überall hin, war seinen Rudelgefährten Spielkamerad, geduldiger Mentor und treuer Beschützer. Im Team mit Claudia erreichte Dice sowohl im Begleithundesport als auch in nationalen und internationalen jagdlichen Prüfungen wie Working Tests und Field Trials ausgezeichnete Resultate. Immer war Lockthorn Dice uns herzlich zugetaner, treuer Begleiter und seinen Rudelkameraden brüderlicher Patron. Dice «run free».
Just a short while ago, Lockthorn Dice enjoyed a holiday at his birthplace «Whitethorn» in North Yorkshire. As we regularly did so during his past 13 years of his life. Dice was accompanying us everywhere. He was a real buddy, a patient mentor and a loyal protector to all of his pack. As a team with Claudia, Dice achieved excellent results in different fields of dog work, in national and international working tests and field trials. Dice was always warmly attached to us, a true companion and a brotherly patron to his packmates. Run free, Dice.
